DAY ACTIVITIES AND GROUP SUPPORT

A familiar day
with structure and social contact

Our day activities offer stimulating and practical group support in safe, familiar surroundings. Participants gain structure, meet others and take part in activities suited to their interests, background and abilities.

Familiar faces

Calm, clarity and time to get to know each other properly.

Personal support

Your goals, pace, language and culture shape the programme.

Active and connected

Activities and social contact strengthen independence and relationships.

STIMULATING AND PRACTICAL GROUP SUPPORT

A programme that suits the participants

The programme combines movement, creativity, practical skills, social contact and relaxation. We continually consider what participants want, can do and need in order to enjoy taking part.

Creative and active

Creative, musical, movement-based and practical activities bring enjoyment, encourage talents and make the day meaningful.

Meeting others and belonging

Contact with others helps maintain social connections and can reduce isolation and loneliness.

Tailored support

Support workers take personal goals, abilities, language, cultural background and support needs into account.

Calm and clarity

A familiar group, clear daily structure and recognisable arrangements provide reassurance and room to participate at your own pace.

A meal as part of the day

When a shared meal is part of the programme, we take dietary needs, health and cultural food practices into account.

A place to be yourself

We want every participant to feel seen, respected and safe, and able to contribute in their own way.

WHO MIGHT BENEFIT?

Day activities for structure, contact and support

Day activities may be suitable when a regular routine, support, meaningful activities or social contact are difficult to achieve. We involve loved ones in the introduction if the participant wishes, and also consider how we can support family carers.

People who need help with daily routine and structure
People who want to maintain or expand their social contacts
People living with physical or mental health vulnerabilities
People who want to strengthen independence and skills
People seeking support that also gives family carers some space
People who enjoy being active during the day and meeting others
