Care that sees the person
and their background
Stichting Brunnera was founded in 2015. As a small organisation, we help people continue living comfortably and with dignity at home for as long as possible, including when language or culture makes access to suitable care less straightforward.
A place to feel at home, always
At Stichting Brunnera, we want everyone to have a place where they feel at home, always. This includes people who sometimes feel far from home because of their language, background or life story.
That is why we provide personal care and support that reflect what someone needs and values. We pay particular attention to people of Armenian heritage and their language and culture, while welcoming everyone.
Your dignity and quality of life come first
We want to uphold each person’s dignity by providing the right care and support. Your care needs, daily life and quality of life guide our work.
Together, we strengthen your independence and the support available from those around you. Good support helps you stay involved, maintain social connections and reduce isolation and loneliness wherever possible.
We listen to your story, agree on goals and arrangements together, and keep reviewing them. This allows care to adapt as your wishes or circumstances change.
How our values shape your everyday care
Person-centred
Everyone is different. Care, support and arrangements therefore reflect your wishes, needs, abilities and personal situation.
Respect
We take a sincere interest in your story and respect your values, feelings, culture, religion and way of life.
Equality
We talk with you, not about you. Your voice, choices and experiences inform your care and support plan and the way we improve our organisation.
Learning and improving
Through HKZ certification, audits, care record checks, evaluations, satisfaction surveys and training, we make quality visible and continue to develop.
Sharing responsibility for good care
The director, Supervisory Board, quality coordinator, office staff and care and support teams work together to provide safe, professional and accessible care. Our teams offer nursing and personal care, support and day activities, and household help, supported by volunteers.
Clients also have a say. The clients’ council represents their shared interests and provides both requested and unsolicited advice on care, services and policy.
Committed to personal care since 2015
Tell us what feeling at home means to you
In a conversation without obligation, we make time for you, your loved one or family carer. We discuss what is going well, where support is needed and which next step suits your situation.
